Movement, rhythm, rhyme and song workshops
My pre school classes are half an hour long- most places hire me for at least an hour to work with 2 or more groups/classes.
They are based around steady beat and phonics
The sessions will normally have time spent on:
Looking at fast/slow/quiet/loud, all in counts of 4 (steady beat).
Using shakers and percussion, again in fast/slow/quiet/loud, all in counts of 4 (steady beat).
In counts of 4 and with a focus on phonics, such ‘as s-s-s-s and ‘g-g-g-go’, as well as a lot of sounds from animals names and the noises animals make.
